UNION OF CATHOLIC MOTHERS

The Union of Catholic Mothers (UCM) is an organisation not just for married mothers but for those with a maternal heart; whether single, married without children, divorced but in full communion with the Catholic Church, or whose husband is a Catholic.

We seek to bring together women through prayer, support and charitable outreach. Some of the charities we support are SCIAF, Aid to the Church in Need, and various Pro-Life Projects. We also gather socially where lifelong friendships are formed.

A key aspect of our work is to pray for and foster vocations to the priesthood and religious life, as well as to always pray for and support our priests, most especially those within parishes.

We also support the Holy Sacrament of marriage and the sanctity of life, praying for the unborn and life in all its forms. We are always happy to champion Catholic education and the excellent work done in our Catholic schools, whilst recognising that we are our children’s first teachers of the Catholic faith.

Families are at the core of our organisation, and it is in families where the foundations of Christian values are nurtured.
